WWE, afkorting van World Wrestling Entertainment, is een Amerikaans geïntegreerd media- en entertainmentbedrijf dat zich heeft gespecialiseerd in het professioneel worstelen. WWE is ook vertakt naar andere sectoren, waaronder films, voetbal en verschillende andere zakelijke ondernemingen.
De naam WWE verwijst ook naar de worstelorganisatie zelf, die in 1953 werd opgericht als de Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC). Het is het grootste worstelbedrijf ter wereld, met meer dan 450 live evenementen per jaar, waarbij de selectie voornamelijk is opgedeeld in drie wereldwijd reizende merken (Raw, SmackDown en NXT) en is beschikbaar voor 900 miljoen huishoudens wereldwijd in 28 talen. Het wereldwijde hoofdkantoor van het bedrijf is gevestigd in Stamford, Connecticut, met kantoren in New York, Los Angeles, Londen, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, München en Tokio.[1]
