Wuchereria bancrofti is een rondworm uit de orde Spirurida. Het is een parasiet die leeft in de lymfeklieren van de mens. Deze rondworm is vernoemd naar de Portugees-Braziliaanse arts Otto Wucherer en de natuuronderzoeker Joseph Bancroft.
