Dolly Rebecca Parton (fødd 19. januar 1946) er ein USA-amerikansk songar, låtskrivar, multi-instrumentalist, skodespelarinne, forfattar og forretningskvinne, mest kjend som countryartist. Etter å ha hatt suksess som låtskrivar for andre artistar, debuterte Parton som plateartist i 1967 med Hello, I'm Dolly. Etter suksessen hennar seint i 1960-åra, både som soloartist og med ei rekkje duettalbum i lag med Porter Wagoner, nådde salstala og listeplasseringane hennar eit høgdepunkt i 1970-åra, og fortsette inn i 1980-åra. Albuma til Parton selde ikkje like godt i 1990-åra, men ho har sidan 2000 hatt kommersiell suksess igjen og gjeve ut album på forskjellige sjølvstendige selskap, inkludert hennar eige Dolly Records.

Parton har hatt 25 songar på toppen av Billboard-countrylista, som er rekord for ein kvinneleg artist (i lag med Reba McEntire). Ho har 44 topp 10-album på countrylista, som er rekord for alle artistar, og 110 av singlane hennar har gått inn på lista dei siste 40 åra.^[2] Ho har fått ti Grammyprisar og 49 nominasjonar, inkludert æresprisen. Som skodespelar har ho spelt i filmar som 9 to 5 (1980) og The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982), som ho vart nominert til Golden Globe for i kategorien beste skodespelarinne, i tillegg til Rhinestone (1984), Steel Magnolias (1989), Straight Talk (1992) og Joyful Noise (2012).
