George Lawrence Thorogood (fødd 24. februar 1950) er ein USA-amerikansk musikar, songar og låtskrivar frå Wilmington i Delaware.[1] Den «høgenergiske boogie-bluesen» hans vart populær på radiostasjonar som spelte rock i 1980-åra, med hittar som «Bad to the Bone» og «I Drink Alone».[2] Han populariserte òg eldre songar av amerikanske ikon, som «Move It on Over», «Who Do You Love?» og «House Rent Boogie/One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer».[3]
Med bandet sitt, The Delaware Destroyers, har Thorogood gjeve ut over 20 album, og to av dei har selt til platinaplate i USA og seks til gullplate. Han har selt 15 millionar plater verda over.
