Metallica – amerykański zespół heavymetalowy i thrashmetalowy założony w Los Angeles w Kalifornii w 1981 roku przez Jamesa Hetfielda i Larsa Ulricha. Uważany za jeden z najważniejszych, najbardziej wpływowych zespołów metalowych lat 80.
