The Battle of Kherson was a battle between Russian and Ukrainian forces which began on 24 February 2022, as part of the Kherson offensive during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On 2 March 2022, Ukrainian forces left Kherson during the battle and Russia took control of the city.[4][5]
