Christopher Emmanuel Paul (born May 6, 1985) is a professional basketball player who currently plays point guard for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA).[ 3] He has also played for the New Orleans Hornets , Los Angeles Clippers , Houston Rockets , Oklahoma City Thunder ,Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns . His nickname is CP3 . In 2008, Paul won an Olympic gold medal as part of the United States basketball team.
Paul played college basketball at Wake Forest University .
