Interstate 49 (I-49) is an Interstate Highway in the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, and Missouri in the United States. It goes from Lafayette, Louisiana north to Kansas City, Missouri. The route is 528.02 miles (849.77 km) long.

I-49 is currently in three separate segments. The first segment goes from Lafayette to Shreveport, Louisiana. The second segment goes from just north of Shreveport to Texarkana, Arkansas. The third segment goes from Alma, Arkansas to Kansas City. In the future, I-49 will be a fully connected highway from New Orleans, Louisiana to Kansas City. These unfinished portions are in many stages of planning or construction.
