Invader Zim, branded as Invader ZIM, is an American animated television series. The series was a science fiction black comedy. It was broadcast by Nickelodeon. The series premiered on March 30, 2001. It ended on August 19, 2006. The series has high cost to make and it was made for children. Nickelodeon cancelled the series on January 17, 2002. This was before the second season was finished. The rest of the completed episodes were made available on DVD on October 12, 2004.
