Parkland is a city in northern Broward County, Florida. As of the 2020 census, there were 34,670 people living there.[3] Parkland is part of the Miami metropolitan area. It is known for its zoning laws which protect "park-like" character of the city.

Until the mid-1990s and early 2000s, there were no stores or traffic lights in Parkland.
