Readjuster Party

The Readjuster Party was a reformist political party from the state of Virginia. It was responsible for several reforms during the late Nineteenth Century[1] such as increased taxes on corporations, reduced tax rates for farmers, the establishment of mechanics’ liens and labor unions, and improved public education.[2]
