Stonehenge is a prehistoric World Heritage Site of megaliths. It is eight miles (13 kilometres) north of Salisbury in Wiltshire, England.[1] the site was built between 3100 BC and 1550 BC. It was used until the Bronze Age. The monument is made of a henge,[2] with standing stones in circles. It is likely the most important prehistoric monument in Britain. The site has attracted visitors from very early times.
