The Penguin (TV series)

The Penguin is an American crime drama television limited series created by Lauren LeFranc for HBO. It is based on the DC Comics character Penguin. It is a spin-off from the movie The Batman (2022).

The show is about the Penguin's rise to power in Gotham City's criminal scene and his rivalry with Sofia Falcone and Sal Maroni and his family.[1]

Colin Farrell stars as the Penguin, returning to his role from The Batman, alongside Cristin Milioti and Rhenzy Feliz.[2]

The Penguin premiered in the United States on HBO and on Max on September 19, 2024.[3] The show has received strong positive reviews from critics.[4][5][6]
