Nyakyusa ist eine Bantusprache, die im Süd-Westen Tansanias und Norden Malawis von der ethnischen Gruppe der Nyakyusa gesprochen wird. Sie gehört zur Guthrie-Zone M (Code 31).[1] Sie wird in dem Gebiet gesprochen, das sich vom nördliche Ende des Malawi/ Nyassa-Sees hoch bis zu der ca. 100 km entfernten Stadt Mbeya erstreckt.[2]
